Easy Garlic Croutons (Vegan)
The easiest homemade crouton recipe made entirely with ingredients found in your cupboard at home. Add them to any soup and salad to jazz it up! Turn your old baguette into something great in just 15 minutes.
- Half a loaf of old baguette
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- ⅔ tsp dried parsley
- 1/4 tsp salt
- Pinch of black pepper
- Preheat oven to 300F – a toaster oven is the perfect size.
- In a large bowl, combine all ingredients, using your hands, toss well so that everything is well incorporated into the bread.
- Spread the bread on a sheet pan, laying them flat with some space in between. Bake the bread cubes for about 10 - 15 minutes, or until slightly golden brown and crisp. Older bread will brown faster than fresher bread. Keep an eye on this job to make sure it doesn’t burn.
